Ceremonial Paiwan tribe female Headdress

This one of Type of Headdress worn by a woman of the Paiwan during special occasions, such as weddings and harvest ceremonies. The richness of the embroidery and the large number of boar tusks suggest that this headdress was intended for a person of high noble rank within the village.
