This panel, carved from very dense wood, depicts a noble ancestor of indeterminate gender. Both arms are crossed over the chest, with the hands resting on the two heads of a serpent encircling the face. The figure wears a hat adorned with eagle feathers, a symbol of martial valor and physical strength. Two additional serpents coil around the body.
