Rukai tribe Sword

Sword from the Rukai tribe, painted in red, white, and black, engraved with serpent motifs and stylized human figures. The front of the scabbard is open worked, and the blade shows influence from the Bunun tribe, neighbors of the Rukai.The owner of this sword carved his name on the handle in mandarin.
