Puyuma tribe Powder horn

The Puyuma tribe, also known as Beinan, is located in eastern Taiwan, between the Paiwan to the north and the Amis to the south, around the city of Taitung. This spiritually inclined people have a very distinctive artistic style, as seen in this powder horn: the use of diamond-shaped patterns and mother-of-pearl inlay.
