Atypical Paiwan tribe Dagger

This atypical dagger from the Paiwan tribe features a finely crafted and beautifully patinated sheath, carved with snake and geometric motifs reminiscent of the hundred-pacer viper’s scales. Its uniqueness lies in the handle, which is made of bone. This dagger originates from the renowned collector Zan Biao Lin, who visited and acquired objects from Indigenous villages thanks to his position as an electrical installer.
