Paiwan tribe ceremonial sword

Very fine sword from the Paiwan tribe, carved with the sacred snake and human faces along the sides. The hilt features a full-length standing figure. This small ceremonial sword, distinguished by its finely aged wood and rich patina, originates from a Taiwanese Han administrator who was responsible for overseeing Indigenous villages during the 1960s
