Paiwan tribe Ceremonial Sword

Very fine ceremonial sword from the Paiwan tribe, featuring a sheath carved with full-standing ancestral figures and a handle tinted with red pigment. The sides are carved with human faces. Slight lack of wood on the front part at the bottom of the scabbard. Red pigment trace on the hilt. As is often the case, it is possible that the blade and the scabbard were separated over time and reunited on the same sword.
