Paiwan tribe Sword

Hunting sword from the Paiwan tribe, with a sheath carved with a scene of a hunter accompanied by his dog shooting at deer. The sides and top of the sheath are covered with brass sheets finely embossed with human head motifs. The sword is made in one piece with the handle, which is wrapped in red-stained rattan.
