Mortier de la tribu Troukou

Bien que nous ayons classé ce mortier parmi les objets de la tribu Atayal pour des raisons de fluidité sur notre site web, il appartient en réalité à la tribu Truku, dont est issu le nom des célèbres gorges de marbre de Taroko, situées près de Hualien. La population actuelle des Truku est d’environ 32 333 personnes (en janvier 2020). En 2004, ils ont été officiellement reconnus comme l’un des peuples autochtones de Taïwan, sous le nom de Truku. Les Truku attachent une grande importance à la culture du tissage et au tatouage facial, croient aux esprits ancestraux et suivent les règles traditionnelles appelées Gaya.
